The developers of Coonamble's River Road solar farm now hope to begin construction in early 2026 after state government approvals took longer than expected.
Building had been planned to begin around October-November this year, but Birdwood Energy's Anthony Anderson said the company is still waiting on Transport for NSW final to give the final okay for their traffic management plan.
If they are approved this year, work is expected to begin after the holiday period to avoid holiday disruptions.
