Baradine invests in housing for a healthy future

A local community group has taken a bold move to attract essential workers.

Finding suitable accommodation has long been a challenge for health professionals considering a move to Baradine, but a proactive community initiative aims to help change that.

The Baradine & District Progress Association has purchased a house to provide rental accommodation for medical and hospital staff, helping attract and retain essential workers in a town where rental properties are in short supply.

The property was recently acquired by the association following ongoing concerns about the availability of housing for healthcare workers . . .
