Coonamble Shire Council announced the first boots on the ground work will commence at the Artesian bore bath project site at the end of this week, 12 June.
Drilling equipment arrived at the Crown Land’s site, adjacent to the Coonamble Golf Club and Coonamble Jockey Club precinct this week.
Council has contracted the Impax Group to do the work, and Shire General Manager, Greg Hill, expects the work drilling the bore to begin late this week.
Construction of the bore is expected to take approximately three to four weeks, subject to weather . . .
