BLOODY handprints, shell casings and fingerprint dust are taking centre stage in year 9 Science at CHS this term.
“Students studying Forensic Science are learning how to analyse a crime scene and find out whodunnit while developing their critical thinking,” said Donna Cattanach, a secondary science teacher at CHS.
“We have done fingerprints, we are going to be doing identifying ballistics and we will be looking at fibres,” she said. “Students will also be solving a crime using case study . . .
