Last Tuesday 14 July twenty-eight school aged children joined in an Amazing Race around the streets of Coonamble.
Mocking the adventure reality television show, the Amazing Race required groups of three or four, to race around Coonamble visiting community checkpoints, completing challenges, earning points, and most importantly, working together as a team.
Organisers were Lindsey Kennedy, Killara Darcy and Laiken Robinson-Cooper from the David Liddiard Group's (DLG) youth diversionary program.
The purpose of the activity was to explore Coonamble and the services it has to offer.
