DESPITE a quiet Christmas period for many Coonamble families, local children have had plenty to do during their school holidays as part of Coonamble Shire Council's free summer holiday program.
From movie days to pool parties to arts and crafts workshops, the program has organised activities in both Coonamble and Gulargambone on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout January.
