A man has been charged following an alleged police pursuit in Coonamble on the weekend.
About 2.40am on Sunday 22 March 2026, officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District were conducting patrols in the township when they allegedly observed a Suzuki sedan accelerate away.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle, however the driver allegedly failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated.
