The Australian wool market finished the 2025/26 selling season on a softer note, with the benchmark Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) falling 46 cents to close at 1,943 cents/kg clean.
A total of 26,179 bales were offered nationally this week, bringing the season's auction offering to 1,512,940 bales, down 52,869 bales or 3.4 per cent on the previous season.
The decline was driven largely by lower Merino fleece volumes.
