Over the last fortnight, 59 endangered Southern Purple Spotted Gudgeons have been relocated by the NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI).
The fish were moved from drying holes in two creeks in the Macquarie River catchment, 38 being released at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo and 21 released into a private owned refuge.
