Energy zone mess

The 230-kilometre transmission line connecting the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone remains at the centre of controversy, with allegations of damage to Indigenous cultural heritage sites prompting an apology from contractor ACEREZ Australia.

ACEREZ has announced it is strengthening controls to better protect Aboriginal heritage as access track construction resumes under what it describes as a careful and staged approach.
