Coonamble Shire Council is taking steps to re-open the local Museum after closing the doors over two years ago.
The local tourist attraction was forced to shut in March 2024 after an engineer deemed the office building and stables structurally unsound.
Coonamble Shire Council’s Economic Development Officer Lee O’Connor said another engineer is set to assess what work needs to be done to the museum, expectedly within “the next two to three weeks.”
