PHOTO: North West RFS District Manager, David Nicholson is asking residents of Walgett Shire to remain vigilant this weekend
From 12:00 am on Friday 3 February through to Sunday 12:00 am 5 February residents of Walgett Shire will be placed under extreme fire risk.
The North West Rural Fire Service say a further warning will go out to residents of Warren, Nyngan, and Coonamble Shires as they will be facing a high fire risk.
All fire permits will be suspended over the two-day period.
