On Thursday 6 and Friday 7 August Mission Australia held a free soup kitchen in front of their office on the main street, serving hot soup to all comers.
The aim of the initiative was to promote awareness for Homeless Week 2026.
Mission Australia are the agency tasked with supporting homeless people in Coonamble shire and took their soup to the street for the third year in a row.
