Coonamble’s Elsie Manson was presented with the Charles Sturt University Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement Award on Thursday 21 May.
After studying hours on end for her Bachelor of Psychology and Diploma in Counselling, she said the recognition gives her fuel to her fire.
The award recognises a student’s dedication, achievement and contribution to studies and the university community.
“I was honoured to receive the CSU Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Achievement Award,” Ms Manson said.
