Gulargambone Galahs produced a strong performance on the weekend, defeating Walgett Dragons 40–22 in a match that was as heated as it was entertaining.
The Galahs came out firing early, racing to a 16–0 lead in the opening stages of the first half.
Their intensity in defence proved crucial, forcing a number of handling errors from the Dragons and allowing Gulargambone to capitalise on field position.
Walgett worked their way back into the contest as the game progressed . . .
