A chance conversation at Government House has resulted in one of Gilgandra’s most innovative agricultural enterprises receiving a vice-regal visit. 

NSW Governor Margaret Beazley and her husband, Mr Dennis Wilson, toured GRASS Merinos during their visit to the Central West and Orana last week, gaining an insight into the unique producer-owned co-operative that has been helping shape Australian sheep genetics for more than 50 years. ..
