Coonamble Shire is formulating a draft program of action-packed youth activities after NSW Premier Chris Minns committed up to $80,000 to help keep kids busy over the Summer holidays.
So far, the draft involves free dinners, extended pool hours and a night bus in Coonamble from 22 December to 8 February, along with potential sport, art, training and recreational activities spread across the six weeks.
Around 20 representatives from Coonamble Shire, NSW Police, local community services and the Premier's Department have been meeting face-to-face and via video link at Council . . .
