On Sunday 2 August it was a beautiful day out playing bowls even though the wind was changing directions throughout the match.
The wind was in a Southwesterly direction at the beginning of the day and the green was running at 17 seconds.
The Mens Pairs quarter finals were played today over 18 ends. On rink 3 Dennis Firth and Barry Nelson against Christopher Swansborough and Allan Albert with Dennis and Barry going to a lead of 7/4 by the 6th end.
