This year, our school’s ANZAC program took a meaningful and educational approach by focusing on the vital contributions of women throughout Australia’s military history.
The program engaged students across all grades, blending history, literature, and creative arts to deepen their understanding of ANZAC and the significant role women have played both in past conflicts and in today’s defence forces.
Our older students explored the book ANZAC Girl, which illuminates the courageous roles women undertook during wars in the past, from nurses to support staff, as well as highlighting the evolving roles women . . .
