There is one word on everyone’s mind at the moment: BLOAT!

The late winter break and warm temperatures have seen an abundance of medic grow after a tough summer and autumn.

The perfect conditions for bloat.

We’ve been gathering reports from our clients and there have been a number of cases logged on the Bloat Alert app (available to both iPhone and Android) from Coonamble and other parts of the central west area.

Bloat is caused by cattle eating highly digestible carbohydrates, in the form of lush green feed . . .
