Coonamble's newest Police officer, Constable Darcy Newell said he is "pretty boring".
Aside from his job, his hobbies, his travel plans and his passion for history, he might be right.
The 25-year-old moved to town for the job in early March.
He was raised at the beachside in Coffs Harbour, and decided to try on the blue vest for a police station in Hornsby, Sydney, when he was 22.
