Most people who move to Coonamble are migrating from towns or cities much larger in size and population.
This was not the case for Shannon Ingham.
Shannon moved to Coonamble last Saturday 18 April from teeny-tiny Ivanhoe as the newest relief teacher at Coonamble Public School.
She comes from the remote town 500 kilometres south west of Coonamble, which is around one-tenth of the size.
Shannon’s move came after teaching at Ivanhoe’s only school of 30 students for the past 10 years.“There’s more staff here . . .
