Croppers and graziers finding it hard to fill a workforce gap now have an extra avenue through the National Farmers Federation's AgCAREERSTART.
The program (which commenced in 2022) offers 18-25-year-olds a paid gap-year on farm and currently has more than 100 shortlisted candidates ready to travel and start.
