The newest face to the Koonambil aged care facility is not a resident, but the home's new CEO.
Lance Payne moved to Coonamble from Brisbane for the role on Thursday 18 June, and he said "it felt like coming home."
The new local is hitting two birds with one stone as the new CEO, by blending his passion for aged care with his love for the country lifestyle.
Mr Payne's love of regional Australia has grown since his upbringing in Hay NSW.
