Land Councils lead Day of Action
on dry rivers

The New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) is taking the lead in tackling the water crisis in the Murray Darling Basin by staging a Day of Action in multiple river communities.

The When The River Runs Dry action day was hosted by Land Councils in six highly-impacted townships at Bourke, Dareton, Dubbo, Menindee, Walgett and Wilcannia on Sunday . . .
