Local athletes rise early for Deadly Dozen

While the rest of Coonamble were sleeping cozy on Sunday morning 21 June, 20 athletes were sweating it out at Smith Park for the Deadly Dozen teams workout challenge.

The intense hybrid conditioning event marks the first event partnership between Coonamble gym and Coonamble Fit.

At 7.30am the athletes, in pairs, got together at the netball courts where twelve exercise stations were set out.

Tessa Parry and Sophia Musgrove leading the pack for the 400 metre dash with ease.

Coonamble Gym Manager Tiffany O’Brien ran the participants . . .
