New improvements and recent action out along the Tooraweenah Road are leaving locals hopeful the construction phase of the upgrade project will get underway in just a few weeks.
The project contractors, Maas Civil, were announced to the public on 9 April, and the Coonamble Shire Monthly Council Meeting on 15 April heard Director of Infrastructure, Kerrie Murphy, say the work is expected to begin in May.
