The eastern gutter of the Coonamble main street was flooded with water on Monday 4 April after an aged water main broke in the early afternoon.
The source of the break was later found to be a broken pipe located underground by the zebra crossing.
The rupture ironically occured on a RDO for many council staff meaning the council needed to engage with a local contractor to find and fix the problem.
