The NSW Government last week announced the Narrabri Gas Project and pipeline as one of 16 ‘high‑value renewable energy projects’ to be fast tracked through their Investment Delivery Authority (IDA).
The announcement was delivered on the same day as a statewide vote by NSW Farmers Association members rejected a proposal to tip 1 per cent of the organisation’s revenue into a legal tussle over the government’s approval of the controversial project.
