A joint partnership between Oz Fish Dubbo and ‘Boys to the Bush’ has brought the first fish hotels to Narromine’s Wetlands.
Team leader Sean Grahm from Oz Fish says it’s the best collaboration he has been involved in.
The hotels provide a place for the fish to stay for short periods of time before growing stronger and moving downstream. They are necessary to replace the snags that have been deliberately removed from Australia’s waterways through large-scale desnagging operations over many years…
