New tower to fill a mobile blackspot

14/02/2022 by The Coonamble Times

PHOTO: Local farmer Bill Charnley celebrates the construction of a new Telstra tower on his property with Dowener Group and ELESERVE contractors Stuart Coote, Jaime Richter, Blair Laing and Tom Cole.

A mobile black spot along the road between Coonamble and Gulargambone may soon be a thing of the past as a new Telstra tower comes online in the near future.

The 52 metre high tower was erected on local farmer Bill Charnley’s Kindamindi property last Thursday 11 February by contractors from NSW construction companies, Downer Group and Eleserve.
