No ladies golf

02/10/2022 by The Coonamble Times

GOLF for the ladies has been in a short supply this month due to the weather and the course being unplayable due to not being able to get on the course.

The ladies have played only a couple of times this month and are having a hard time finishing their programme for the year.

Last week the lady golfers were due to play their foursome championships but they were postponed because of rain.

The ladies have had injuries and medical appointments that have interrupted partnerships and have had to rearrange their teams because of these unforeseen happenings.

Hopefully, given reprieves those teams will come together again so we will see what this week involves but the weather says rain again.

Our meeting is coming up in October where we will look at electing a new committee and a new programme.

Many clubs have had disruptions to their programs and it’s been reported through the state veterans that clubs have not been able to finish state events so we are not the only ones having troubles with programme events.

If the ground dries out and the forecast goes away we will most likely get to play this week other then that there will be No Golf again so hopefully good golfing ladies.
