THE Coonamble district is slowly drying out which is great for the farmers who have had a pretty tough time trying to get crops in, with some deciding to go into summer crops.
On the other side of the fence it hasn’t been that good for the grazier either with wet paddocks and grass slow to get away with some stock losing weight in paddocks of grass two feet high.
There has been a bit of correction in the beef and lamb industry in the past few weeks.
