At this year's Australia Day celebrations in Coonamble, the traditional presentations by the Coonamble & District Education Foundation (CADEF) introduced a new special award.
The inaugural Henry Elliott Scholarship was awarded to 19 year old Christopher Peters as a young local person pursuing a trades apprenticeship and in honour of a previous CADEF recipient Henry Elliott who died tragically last year . . .
