Was it a bird? Was it a plane? It was definitely not superman.
On Tuesday evening 9 June Coonabarabran astronomer Donna ‘the astronomer’ Burton’s phone began blowing up with messages and calls.
“People were asking me if there was a meteor, an asteroid, a UFO or something exploding in the sky,” Donna said.
Luckily, it was none of the above.
Around 6.20pm AEST Chinese space station Landspace launched the ZHUQUE-2E Y6 rocket into the sky, towing behind it two satellites.
