A letter to Coonamble Shire on behalf of the community is urging action towards better lighting in multiple streets in Coonamble over safety fears.
A social media callout in late 2025 by the Safer Coonamble Group (CSC) revealed concerns about dark spots in Nash, Yarran, Wilga, Barton, Namoi, Tooloon, Townsend, Sydney, Barton, Warrena, Broad and McCullough streets.
