Transport for NSW says a planned upgrade to the intersection of the Castlereagh Highway and Warren Road will improve safety for motorists following concerns raised by Coonamble Shire Council.
The project will include the construction of a dedicated right-turn lane for southbound traffic on the highway, designed to separate turning vehicles from through traffic and reduce the risk of rear-end crashes.
