Shock at halt on the Inland Rail project

News that funding for the Inland Rail project north of Parkes has been axed has left confusion and disappointment in its wake, given the first section to be completed was the 103km section from Parkes to Narromine and 163km of the 184km section from Narrabri to North Star was completed in 2023.
