Sixth-generation Showie keeps tradition alive at 2026 Coonamble Show

Showie Connor Pink’s livelihood is often at the mercy of the weather, it can make or break an event, and poor attendance can quickly turn into financial loss for him.

Thankfully, he says, the Coonamble Show had still been successful despite rain on the first day and more wet weather during the second.

“We had been very lucky at the Coonamble Show with the turnout even though the second day of running was constant rain,” he said.

He runs the sideshow shooting gallery and many who stop to spend their hard earned . . .
