Slow start no reason for complacency as Western NSW flu cases climb

Western NSW residents are being urged to access a flu vaccination, with doctors warning that a slower start to this year’s influenza season should not be mistaken for a lack of risk.

The Royal Australian College of GPs (RACGP) is encouraging people to book in with their local GP after Australia experienced its worst flu season on record in 2025.
