A Come By Chance property owner had a rude surprise when they found half their roof missing after a storm passed through the area on Friday 17 October.
State Emergency Service (SES) units from Walgett and Coonamble were called to the rural residence the following morning, where they found debris strewn across a paddock.
The sole occupant was not home at the time of the storm, and no injuries were reported.
