Over 23 Coonamble Public School Students strapped up their velcro shoes and double-knotted their laces for the annual Walk Safely to School day.
The school invited students to participate in a walk from the Coonamble Pool to the campus on Friday morning, 22 May.
Coonamble Public School teacher and walk organiser, Viv Davies, said the nation-wide event promotes pedestrian and road safety, along with the other benefits associated with walking to school.
The aim of the initiative is to promote vital pedestrian safety skills and helps kids meet the daily requirement . . .
