On Saturday 27 June, the Coonamble Bears first grade travelled over to Gulgong for round nine of the Christie and Hood Castlereagh League Competition, facing off against the Bull Terriers.
It was a fantastic game for spectators, with both teams showing true grit in their defence and pushing themselves time after time to get ahead.
It was the Terriers that secured the win in the end through, getting over the Coonamble Bears 32 to 24, the win keeping them in the battle for a semi final berth with five rounds remaining.
