Tributes flow for former Bogan Shire Mayor Ray Donald

A man like no other, who dedicated his life to his family, community and his region, are the words echoing around Western NSW and beyond after news that long time Bogan Shire Mayor Ray Donald OAM passed away this week following a brief illness.

After 30 years as a Bogan Shire Councillor, Ray Donald made it his life’s work to improve life in the bush for not only his own community but the western region.

Becoming Deputy Mayor in 1991 – 1997, Mr Donald then went on to become Mayor from 1997 until his retirement in 2021…
