Walgett Shire Council Mayor Jasen Ramien says the completion of an important upgrade to the Collarenebri Airport is now installed and operational.
The new pilot-controlled lighting significantly improves the capacity of the airport to support aircraft movements after dark, particularly important when urgent medical assistance is required.
