Walgett CWA Hall, home to the 45 strong local CWA group is one of five halls set for a make-over thanks to funding received by the state body.
Walgett secretary, Christine Ford, said the group was excited about the upcoming transformation of their meeting space.
“We only heard we had been approved as one of five pilot branches to receive funding about a week before Christmas last year,” Ms Ford said.
“We aim to update the hall with desks, chairs and other facilities such as printers and wi-fi, all which make it an attractive co-working space that we can hire out…
