Western area politicians voice concerns over Inland Rail Project pause

As regional NSW struggles to come to grips with the pausing of the Inland Rail Project, local representatives have gone into bat in an attempt to initiate a turn around in the thinking of the Federal Government, for the sake of the communities and businesses that will be directly and indirectly affected by the decision.

Roy Butler Member for Barwon has urgently called on the Federal Government following the abandonment of the inland rail route, to compensate local councils who have invested significant funds in preparation for the now paused project…
