Wild dust storm sweeps through western plains

Dust-laden winds gusting at more than 120-kilometre per hour struck the Western Plains yesterday evening Thursday 26 March with Dubbo and neighbourhing towns hit hard.

A number of towns will be assessing the damage and continuing the clean up this morning.

The wind brought down a crane which collapsed at 1 Church Street Dubbo on their only high-rise building.

There were no injuries, but damage bill still is being assessed…
