Community volunteer Ruth Castles has this week been recognised for her service to the children of the district after 36 years of teaching scripture at Coonamble Public School.
She was presented with a certificate on Monday morning, delivered by Judy Moody on behalf of the Special Religious Education teachers of Coonamble.
