LAST Wednesday 4 May the lady golfers played the Patronesses Trophy over 18 holes.
The day had a fresh wind blowing which called for us to go for our jumpers.
The first nine holes was quite sunny but when we started down the 10th it started to sprinkle.
Getting to the 12th the rain set in so for the other 6 holes the ladies played in the rain.
The scores were not very good but Pam Goldsmith seemed to handle the wet conditions with a 97 off the stick, a nett . . .
